The web site is being updated daily with new items of model railway interest. On Sunday the NEWSLETTER page was added and now includes past issues back to November 2012. For those who visited the Wilson’s Pine Valley railway yesterday this November issue will be of particular interest, go and have a look and you will see why.
Also added today is a new page for ARTICLES and papers written or submitted by our members, Topics include scenery techniques, baseboard construction, track geometry and configurations, control systems, electrics and all papers relating to creating and running your model railway. If you have any articles that you would like to include please let us know.
The swap meet this coming Saturday is being well supported by our local traders including Mark Trains, Craig’s Models from Pretoria, Natures Model Scenery, Digitrax by John Burkhardt, The Train Team, Jean Dulez, Jim McLuskie, Ralph Davey’s Southern Pacific, Glen van Dyk, and Tom Prinsloo. There will be a table for EMRIG as well manned by Theuns Wessels and Bob Woodhead, If any member wishes to sell any of his surplus items then take them along and join the table.
Opening to the public is at 9am, traders and sellers can come in anytime after 8am, the stalls will be in front of Mr Price, adjacent to our new home at Northmead Mall
