To all members who currently receive club information from Colin TT or newsletters from Kevin C.
A Google Group mailing list has been created in order to make the sending of these e-mails easier. Currently, 3 separate emails are sent out with the recipients equally split between the 3 emails. This is done due to the issues sometimes experienced when many email addresses are attached to just one email. A mailing list takes the hassle out of all this.
The Google Group also helps the persons on the list to communicate with everyone else in the group in the same way as Yahoo groups. It is not the intention to turn the Google Group into a forum as such, but is primarily to help with the distribution of info.
We will shortly be adding existing members to the list, however, if anyone does not want be part of the mailing list, it is quite easy to un-subscribe, however you will also no longer receive notices and newsletters 🙁
