This was arguably the largest swap meet hosted by the club in its history with 39 tables of goodies for sale. This event also saw the Bloemfontein “Dream Trains<\/a>” taking 10 tables alone. Also there were the usual folk like Dick the tree man, Mervyn and team, and a host of others. However, not only was it well attended by sellers, there were substantially more buyers looking for that bargain or item they have been wanting for many a year.<\/p>\n The event was such a hit, even the pony club who organise and supply the drinks,\u00a0boerewors and hamburgers were put to work trying to keep up with the unusual demand.<\/p>\n A very big plus was the venue. A big thanks goes out to the staff and owners of the Northmead Mall<\/a> who allow the club to use the facilities. Arguably the modern and pleasant venue went a long way to attracting everyone.<\/p>\n From the Committee and members of EMRIG, we would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended the event and made it the success it was.<\/p>\n \n
